Since first qualifying as a Fitness Trainer & Sports Therapist my main priority has always been to deliver the highest quality training, treatment and advice, personalised to suit each client’s needs. I ensure that my exercise instruction is effective and enjoyable, and has the client’s safety foremost. Care and empathy are important elements in my therapies which include Reiki, Reflexology and Massage. It is essential that my clients know that I am listening to them and providing the most suitable treatment, using knowledge gained from my training, experience and continuing research, and also that knowledge which comes from within, from the heart, often called intuition. My clients include young mothers, busy executives, pensioners, sports people, other therapists and people recovering from illness or injury. As well as having my own clients I spent four years at Michael Sobell House (MSH), a specialist palliative care unit at Mount Vernon Hospital and was responsible for introducing Reiki as a therapy there. The people to whom I gave Reiki at MSH included Day Centre patients, staff and volunteers, patients on the ward and sometimes their families. Prior to setting out on my own I worked as a fitness professional at the BodyZone gym in Windsor. My aim is to see people smiling, feeling good and full of optimism. Qualifications 1999 Diploma in Fitness Training and Sports Therapy with Premier Training International – a leading Fitness Training company. The Diploma course included Fitness Instruction & Personal Training; Exercise Management for Special Populations (people with complaints such as obesity, asthma, diabetes, cardiac disease etc.); Optimum & Sports Nutrition; Body Massage; Sports Massage; First Aid; Circuits; Fitness Assessment & Health Appraisal; Lifestyle Management; Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation. 1999 Diploma in Sports Therapy – awarded by the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies. 2001 First degree in Reiki - Usui Shiki Ryoho, with Reiki Master Marion Campbell. 2001 Second degree in Reiki - Usui Shiki Ryoho, with Reiki Master Marion Campbell. 2003 Diploma in Reflexology – awarded by the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies
